Unfortunately our body does not follow our heads supposed logic. Our bodies go in to shut down mode i.e. our metabolism slows over night and then is waiting to be kick started when you wake up if you suppress this biological need. It will continue to slow your body thinks it has been stranded on a desert island. i.e. it will conserve calories, quite clever really. So eat breakfast.
